| Stunning in its concept and design Sa Punta is built in an adaptation of the traditional Mallorquin style, with walls of rose-coloured stone that form the perfect background to peaceful courtyards and wide terraces. Inside, white walls are set off by tiled floors and sloping, beamed ceilings, with natural colours predominating, highlighted by some colourful works of art and comfortable furmiture. Each bedroom has its own terrace and en suite marble bathroom; all living areas have independent air-conditioning. The villa is particularly well-equipped for home entertainment with satellite TV, a music system, a selection of videotapes, DVD’s, CD’s and a small library. There is also Internet access. Continental breakfasts are arranged and a chef provides a buffet lunch, pre-dinner canapés and dinner. The large, private swimming pool is beautifully sited, amidst green lawns, reflecting tall, graceful trees that frame a glorious view of the sea. There is also a tennis court on the estate, and the entire 1500 hectares are open for guests to wander at will. There is direct access to a pebble beach from the estate. The traditional villages of Banyalbufar and Esporles are a few kms away providing a variety of restaurants, tapas bars and other local amenities. Also Valldemossa, with its fabled monastery and lovely Deia are no more than half an hour’s drive away. At Sa Punta, however, if you are looking for a relaxing and restorative holiday, you will not need to venture beyond the gates of this lovely estate. |
