| Hidden amidst a wonderful Andalucian landscaped garden that is protected by conifers and cypresses the grounds of Casa de Las Higueras offer a perfect place to spend lazy summer days. The large private pool provides welcome relief from the hot Andalucian sunshine, along with the shade of old fig trees and banana palms, whilst oleander bushes and Hibiscus add to the atmosphere. Cala del Aceite is within 15 minutes walk through the pine grove where you will find a sandy cove, complete with ‘chiringuito’ - beach bar. The conservation area of pine forest invites you to walks, bike-riding or horse treks, also to the little local fishing port where you can watch the daily catch being landed. Beyond this is Cape Roche lighthouse, a key viewing point along the coast to Cape Trafalgar. The Atlantic Ocean offers lengthy fine golden sands, La Barrosa beach stretches from Roche to Cadiz, La Fontanilla in Conil has safe shallow waters, ideal for children, and there are the several sheltered coves of Roche. The local restaurant serves fresh fish, alternatively eat a home-made pizza under the vines in the family-run pizza house around the corner. Nearby Conil is an attractive, traditional white seaside town where you can wander its winding streets or stroll along the promenade. The property has a simple and stylish decor, and relaxing ambience. |
