| The former farm manager's house, Il Leccio is set in a private location with lovely country views over the countryside below. The sitting room and the spacious bedrooms with their original beamed ceilings and terracotta floors, are all decorated in an inviting country style, with colour washed walls in warm tones and fabrics in rich country colours, wrought iron bedsteads, elegant light fittings and beautiful prints and drawings.
The swimming pool with ample sun furniture is set into a grassy terrace approximately 200 m from the property. The simply spectacular. The pool is bordered with aromatic lavender bushes and there is a pool house with kitchenette and cloakroom. A dining pergola with table and chairs is the perfect spot for enjoying shady lunches. The maid will cook delicious local specialities on request. The tennis court is within walking distance of the property.
Il Leccio is located on the Fattoria Mansi Bernadini estate, once the working farm of Villa Mansi, a historic villa, now open to the public. Today the Fattoria is renowned for producing top quality extra virgin olive oil.
Guests are looked after by the discreet English speaking staff at the Estate Office. They are delighted to give advice on local trattorie, wineries, shopping, sightseeing, festivals and golf courses. |
