L'Aiaccia, nr Gaiole in Chianti

The sitting room and study have been furnished with a mix of antique and modern furniture and there is a very attractive fitted kitchen and doors lead out to the pretty wisteria shaded terrace freom the elegant sitting room.

Steps lead up to the first floor with a further sitting room, bedrooms and a panoramic arched loggia furnished with stylish rattan wing armchairs and foot stools with cushions, telescope and further cushioned built-in seating next to the arches.

The different terraces, with many spots in sun or shade have been planted with fragrant lavender, rosemary, box and roses and a path leads down from the terraces across the lawns to the unusually long pool with built-in steps.

With table tennis and football, the annexe is a great 'den' for teenagers!

Despite its privacy, the house is not isolated, the hamlet of Castagnoli with restaurant/pizzeria and enoteca is just 1 km away and Chianti villages and Siena are within easy driving distance.

Note: This property is unsuitable for children under 4. The last part of the unsurfaced access road is steep and only suitable for experienced drivers.
