| Villa Adriana is set in beautiful lawned gardens on the south western side of Lake Maggiore in the beautiful Lagoni de Mercurago regional park. From many points on the estate, especially from the glorious lawned gardens, there are magnificent views of Lake Maggiore with the Borromeo castle of Angera visible on the opposite shore. A famous architect designed and built Villa Adriana in the 1960s and this unique property has recently been restored and refurbished in a modern style. The interiors are spacious and light, with a varied range of colours, although white is the predominant colour. The house has been featured in several Interior Design magazines that specialise in architectural design.
The accommodation is all at ground floor level. The focal point of the villa is the large circular sitting room (once a dance hall) with sofas and rattan chairs furnished in beautiful, light, contemporary style. Here there is also a large kitchen and dining room also equipped in this beautiful contemporary style. From this central section of the villa two hallways lead to a large dining room and the six bedrooms. Each wing has a master bedroom with bathroom en suite and a further double and twin bedroom sharing a bathroom.
