Margherita started its life in the late 1800’s as the first hotel in the then undiscovered town of Positano – then a small, rustic fishing village between Sorrento and Amalfi. Bought by the present owners after the first World War, this beautiful building has been remodelled and transformed into lovely, private apartments to complement today’s lifestyle expectations and comforts – yet without losing the unique sense of being in a historic home in the vibrant southern Italy. Featured in magazines such as Architectural Digest, its owners, renowned designers of theatre and costumes for opera and film, have simply directed their artistic talents and energy into this lovely building.
