PROPERTY INFORMATION

Surprisingly, over the years, in spite of the continued development of Kalami, Avra remained a very private property. Its owners have now made sweeping changes to it, adding two new bedrooms and creating a beautiful private kidney-shaped swimming pool. One of the great attractions of Avra has always been the sun-trap terraces and the fact that it is within easy walking distance of Kalami’s beach, shops, tavernas and other amenities, including the excellent water sports centre. In this, nothing has changed, and Avra remains a very attractive property, sleeping couples or families in comfortable, informal surroundings. Under the same ownership is Villa Periyiali, (see page 108), situated below Avra overlooking the sea. Rock bathing is accessible from the terrace of Periyiali and by public footpath from Avra.
