| PROPERTY INFORMATION |
Karlaki has the settled, sturdy appearance of an old French farmhouse. It is simply but comfortably furnished, with red tiled floors throughout, corners highlighted by huge pottery urns, Corfiot baskets and Moroccan metawork lamps. A practical kitchen that includes a pleasant breakfast corner is divided from the large dining room by a worktop, and the sunken sitting room, a haven for cooler evenings, has a fireplace and relaxed seating. The house looks north towards the towering mass of Mount Pantocrator and its flanking ridges, that effectively shelter this central valley from the northern winds and contribute to its fertility and favourable climate.
