| PROPERTY INFORMATION |
The English owners, amongst the first to build on the north east coast, have kept the rustic Corfiot style of their much loved home – a style combined with comfort and space. With the addition of a new kitchen for 2008. It probably has the most magical view of any house we know on the island. Sitting on one of its terraces, in sun or shade, or dining outside with the moon reflecting on the sea, is an unforgettable experience. The south-facing swimming pool, framed by graceful trees, shares the same very special atmosphere as the rest of the house. Its positioning is inspired, but when you can drag yourself away there is a private path, steep with steps, leading down to a quiet beach with excellent sea-bathing. Comfortably furnished and home to over 500 books comprising the owner’s library, paintings and favourite objects reflecting their long association with Greece and all things Greek, Villa Katerina attracts many of our regular clients, and we recommend early reservation.
