| Set on a terraced hillside overlooking the sea, Ismini is a particularly lovely seaside house, with unparalleled views to the south. Its owners have succeeded in maintaining the unobtrusive elegance of more leisurely times while meeting the expectations of today’s guests, and the villa displays some remarkably hi-tech facilities, including a computer corner and broadband internet access. The bright and airy sitting room opens on to a beautiful covered terrace that is particularly well-equipped for outdoor living. Outside, steps lead down past flower beds filled with roses to a fine swimming pool, now gated, while more steps and a fairly steep path continue on through the property to the water’s edge, where a gate gives access to rock bathing below. Off these rocks the sea is deep and incredibly clean and clear, and offers exhilarating bathing for good swimmers. The Guest House is situated to one side below the pool, and is just as comfortable and well-equipped as the main house (additional charge outside of peak season). The combination of the two houses makes the property perfect for two families or a group of friends desiring a certain amount of independence. |
