It is situated on a hillside with far-reaching views that encompass the bay of Avlaki with Albania’s mountains as an intriguing backdrop. It has a high-ceilinged drawing room with an arch through to a dining area and the lemon-yellow kitchen. The large ground floor bedroom has its own spacious terrace as does one of the upstairs bedrooms. The house is beautifully decorated with Moroccan and Indian furnishings and is altogether extremely comfortable. Eventually, the owner’s talents as a gardener will again be in evidence. Avlaki, with its dazzling white pebble beach and invigorating sailing and windsurfing possibilities, is very close, only a 5 minute drive away, while St Stephano, with all its amenities, is just 1.5km away.
