Avlaki is everything a holiday beach should be – a long crescent of white pebbles lapped by clean, clear sea, backed by an almost unbroken stretch of low green hills with two excellent tavernas offering every encouragement to linger over a beautiful meal. The fresh afternoon breeze that prevails here is both a cooling influence and provides ideal conditions for windsurfing and sailing, facilities for which are wellorganised here, with an English-run sailing and surfing centre on the beach. The two houses, built sideby- side, are separated from the beach by the walled garden that surrounds them and the small road which runs along the shore. Designed for relaxed, comfortable holiday living, the houses share a handsome swimming pool, and are equipped with separate barbecues and outdoor eating areas. With supermarkets not far away that will deliver to the houses, and the superb beach and its amenities, the property is ideal for family groups or friends. Note: when there is a booking for one of the houses only, the other one will not be rented, and guests have exlusive use of the private pool.
