While preserving its rustic charm, Tartine was extensively refurbished in 2002 featuring fabulous landscaped gardens covering over 1,100 square metres offering a private and remote escape in some of the most beautiful French countryside. The house itself has been furnished to a high European standard featuring an open plan kitchen, with all modern appliances, leading into a sitting room with plenty of comfortable seating surrounding an open fireplace and stairs which lead to the upstairs bedroom and mezzanine. French windows lead out from the sitting room to a spacious stone terrace, which is floodlit in the evenings and ideal for barbecues. Spectacular views can be enjoyed over the private heated swimming pool and landscaped gardens to the forests beyond. Leading off the living room there are two bedrooms, one double and one twin, a shower room and separate WC. Upstairs one will find the air conditioned master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and large dressing/sitting area with views over the gardens. There is also a mezzanine area upstairs which can be used as a quiet study or sitting area. An additional spacious twin bedroom, with en-suite bathroom and kitchenette, is located in the pool house which would be ideal for a nanny or a couple seeking privacy. The main house also has its own parking area, with additional ample parking on the road outside. With the buzz and excitement and sandy beaches of St Tropez less then 20mins drive away, peaceful forest surroundings, local shops, restaurants and sporting facilities nearby, Tartine is an ideal hideaway for anyone wanting to experience all the Côte d’Azur has to offer.
