| Located between Yellowbird and Hawksbill, and designed by the same architect as Yellowbird, Sand Pebbles combines a distinctive architectural style with comfortable accommodation, and has relaxing views out to sea. The furnishings are typical of the Caribbean, with the well-equipped kitchen and separate laundry opening onto a large open-plan living/dining area. Here there is a feature coral stone wall, and this, along with the ceiling fans, keeps the room beautifully cool. Both the living and dining areas are furnished in comfortable white wicker furniture with cool blue fabrics, and from here four sets of large sliding glass doors, which recess into the walls, open onto the swimming pool and sundeck. These enable the villa to take full advantage of the cooling sea breezes to maximum effect. There are three attractively decorated bedrooms in sunny yellows and creams: one on the ground floor and two on the first floor, and all have air-conditioning and ceiling fans. The upstairs bedrooms both have twin beds and en suite shower rooms as well as views of the sea, whils the third bedroom overlooks the gardens and has a double bed and an en suite shower room. The good sized free-form swimming pool, with steps into the shallow end, is located in the middle of the sun terrace, which is well furnished and enclosed, making it private and very safe for children. |
