| A wrought iron gate, in the shade of a colourful flamboyant tree, opens to a pebbled courtyard in front of Xel-Há’s magnificent front doors. Vaulted roofs and tall doors add to its air of spacious living and cool lifestyle. Each room, although simply furnished, is filled with Mexican style and a distinctive décor of earth-toned floors of ochre and terracotta, and walls painted in warm yellows and tiger orange. Features include Mexican furniture and wooden four-poster beds draped with white Indian voile, wrought iron and copper fittings, solid teak counters and cobalt blue clay bowls as bathroom sinks. One of this villa’s most compelling features is its terrace and pool deck, with its bar, spa and wonderful panoramic views. |
