| Established over fifty years ago as one man’s dream of a luxury resort, maintained and extended by three generations of the Bauchet-Boulal family, the Hotel has now opened its latest addition, the Es Saadi Palace. Located just behind the existing hotel, the Palace is simply splendid, with all accommodation in sumptuous suites with balconies or luxuriously appointed poolside villas with private patios. The skills of master craftsmen have been called into service for the decoration of the hotel, so that traditional Moroccan style blends with the utmost in contemporary comfort. Great thought has gone into every detail – the Es Saadi is famous for its beautiful gardens, and in creating the new swimming pool for the guests of the Palace, the stately trees and winding, shady paths of the property, that play such a large part in the cocooned seclusion of the guests, remained undisturbed. The result is a uniquely lovely freeform pool, a heavenly background to supper under the stars. With the famous Casino for evening entertainment, tennis and golf practice in the grounds, and a highly revered gourmet restaurant, this is a true oasis from which to venture forth and explore the restless, exciting city of Marrakech.
