| This is a very special hotel, one that aims to provide the perfect setting for a totally self-indulgent, utterly restorative stay. 30 stone cottages are spread about a 250-acre property of parkland, gardens and orange groves. The hotel is exquisitely furnished throughout with unusual antiques and artifacts, and each bedroom combines traditional Moroccan and contemporary European styles. The food is superb and much of it comes from the hotel’s own organic farm. Breakfasts are served on the private terraces with their wonderful views of the Atlas Mountains; lunch is a vast, colourful buffet served by the pool; dinner may be formal or relaxed – the choice is yours. The atmospheric town of Taroudant is nearby, and a very diverse choice of leisure activities includes riding, with Arab horses, up into the Atlas. |
