The services shown below are a guide to our most popular routes and are just a selection of flights available, if you require regional departure, or return from a different airport please ask your consultant for details. We highly recommend that all flight reservations are made at the time of booking your holiday, as our preferential tour operator fares are limited in the numbers available. Therefore if you add members to your party after the initial booking has been made, these special fares may be unavailable and seats are only available on the same flight, at a higher fare level. Please ask your sales consultant to give you a quotation for your travel arrangements.

Scheduled Flights

As members of IATA we have skilled trained staff who are also able to quote and ticket for scheduled flights to all destinations, many fares based on special Tour Operator’s rates to all of the destinations we feature. However, in today’s competitive market, prices for scheduled flights may change, depending on the airline and date of travel. CV Travel aim to give their clients the best fare quote at the time of booking, and use our expertise to recommend the best travel arrangements to suit each client. For instance, whilst to some a flight may appear to be good value, but might be restrictive – we may recommend another fare basis or different airline, because it offers more flexibility.

We are delighted to be able to offer British Airways flights to Faro and Lisbon. We also have fares available with Air Portugal.

• Children are defined as being 2-11 years on the date of travel. Infant charges vary through the year and start from £45.

• Flight flexibility. Provided the same airline is used, flights can be booked in/out of different airports. Ask for details.

British Airways departures

Club/Business Class

Club or Business class air travel does, of course, offer a greater degree of in-flight comfort, as well as an extra baggage allowance, with seat selection on most flights as routine at the time of booking and special airport departure lounges in some locations. We are able to offer special “upgrade” fares to most destinations which offer all the benefits of Club or Business class travel, but being special tour operator fares, once booked they cannot be amended or refunded. If you require total flexibility, please discuss the options available to you with our experienced reservations consultants.

Regional Flight Connections to London

We are able to offer a wide choice of UK domestic flights from regional airports to connect with your international flight at competitive prices. Departure airports will vary depending on your international carrier and include Aberdeen, Belfast, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness, Jersey, Leeds/Bradford, Manchester, Newcastle and Newquay. Please note not all domestic connections are available for all overseas flights. Full details are available on request.

Further Flights to Portugal

“Low cost” web based airlines and Charter airlines fly to an increasing number of airports to Portugal. CV Travel can book flights with these airlines on your behalf for a handling fee. If you would like us to look into booking flights for you, please ask your Sales Consultant who will be happy to look into options and prices for you. Please note it is often necessary for some airlines to revise their flight schedules, sometimes by many hours, from the original scheduled departure times. Wherever possible we aim to use reputable suppliers to avoid these changes but cannot take responsibility for any changes made by the airline. General Information

Flight Payment

For 2012, all flights need to be paid in full at the time of booking and as part of your overall deposit.

Airport Taxes

The flight prices quoted include all applicable Passenger Service Charges Airport Taxes for both scheduled, “low cost” and charter flights. Full details will be given at time of booking.

Flight Schedules and Aircraft Types

Full details of flight schedules will be given at the time of booking and will be detailed on our holiday confirmation. If any changes are made to any of these details after we have issued our confirmation, we will notify you as soon as we are made aware of them.

Airport Representation

We do not provide representation at any UK airport on departure, nor in overseas airports on arrival.

Conditions of Carriage

All flight reservations for holidays are made on the understanding that the Conditions of Carriage of the airline will prevail. In particular, airlines reserve the right to withdraw a flight or consolidate flights at their discretion. Any such changes are covered by clause 5 of our Booking Terms & Conditions.

General Conditions Applying to Flight Bookings

a) Passenger Names: we are only able to book flights for passengers named on the booking form and for whom we hold full details i.e. name (title, first and surnames), age, etc.. We are unable to book flights for unnamed members of your party.

b) Passports: The government of Portugal require airlines to collect Advance Passenger Information for passengers prior to travel. You will need to give this information before or at check-in.

The information required is:

– passport number, country of issue, issue – and expiry dates

– your name as it appears on your passport

– nationality

– date of birth

– gender

c) Flight Amendments/Cancellations: all charter flights and most special tour operator scheduled flights are non-transferable, non-refundable and name changes are NOT permitted. The Company reserves the right to treat name changes as cancellations. Please refer to Booking Terms & Conditions Nos. 7 & 8 for flight cancellation charges.

d) i) Infants: infants are defined as being under 2 years on date of DEPARTURE for scheduled flights; and under 2 years on date of RETURN for charter flights. A nominal flight charge for infants will apply. Ask for details at the time of booking. They do not qualify for a seat or meal, although many scheduled services now offer a 10kg baggage allowance. Only one infant per adult may travel as a lap passenger. Most airlines permit the carriage of infants in approved car seats subject to the applicable fare being paid. Skycots are not available on flights used in this programme.

ii) Children: children are defined as being 2 years and under 12 years on the date of DEPARTURE for scheduled flights and 2 years and under 12 years on the date of RETURN for charter flights. Unaccompanied minors (under 12 years) in most cases will not be accepted on any charter flight. Our flight department will advise accordingly.

e) Baggage Allowances: for adults and children: Scheduled flights have an allowance of 20 or 23kg per person (30kg in Club Class or equivalent), and 10kg per infant. Discounted flights have an allowance of 20kg per person. Infants: no luggage allowance. Please check before departure for any updated information regarding baggage policy.

f) One-way Seats: due to Civil Aviation Authority regulations, all flights mentioned are available as part of a holiday on a round trip basis only. Under no circumstances can they be used one-way. Anyone trying to return to the UK on an inbound only sector will be refused permission to board the aircraft and no refund will apply.

g) Pregnancy: airlines have varying restrictions concerning travel during pregnancy – please check with CV Travel prior to booking.

h) Lost Baggage: You must report any lost baggage to the airline before you leave the arrivals hall baggage reclaim area.
