Mallorca

Destination Information

The island of Mallorca is justifiably famous for its spectacular scenery, sophisticated marinas, palm-fringed sand beaches and unspoiled tracts of countryside. Too many visitors, however, tread only the well-worn path of commercial tourism and miss the essence of the island – the peace of its rural areas, the acres of almond groves, the unhurried pace of village life and the undisturbed coves that lie beneath silent headlands.

The island is unashamedly romantic, and many a well-documented idyll has been played out against this gorgeous background, both in the past and in the present. The best holidays in Mallorca allow the visitor to sample the contrasts of the island, to explore and then to retreat to the comfort and privacy of a superbly sited holiday base. Our programme in Mallorca allows you to do just that, with a fine variety of stylish country homes and lovingly restored farmhouses in locations that range from central to secluded.

Our selected houses are in and around the historic hilltown of Arta; artistic Deia; sophisticated Puerto d'Andratx; popular Camp de Mar; the seven sands and yachting marina of busy Cala d'Or; Pollensa – with its gorgeous nearby bay and atmospheric old town; and almost unheard of Alaro, a refreshing rural escape.
