Set in three acres of beautiful gardens, home to mature palms and an olive grove, Casa Encantada is a haven of tranquility, within walking distance of the sea, flanked by the Tramuntana Mountains on one side and the Bay of Pollensa on the other.

This lovely house comprises three buildings which surround the inviting semi-circular swimming pool complete with a separate Jacuzzi bath. The main house, a renovated finca, boasts cool rooms with modern features complementing traditional architecture. The Casita is adorned with a magnificent king size bed, and other luxuries including a steam bath, whilst The Mews features a four-poster bed, and an elegant stone mosaic bathroom. The décor throughout is quite eclectic, reflecting the owner’s travels to far corners of the globe. Casa Encantada is an enchanting villa, perfect for a relaxing holiday, yet close to all the amenities of pretty Pollensa and the coast nearby.

A local cook can be provided at this property, giving everyone the opportunity to really relax whilst away. Cooks are on request and do need to be booked well in advance to avoid disappointment. They are usually payable locally at an hourly rate.

Destination introduction

At the foot of the Formentor peninsula, Puerto Pollensa looks onto a blissful south-facing bay where a vast expanse of sand meets shallow waters as blue as the sky. Behind it are the craggy cliffs and pine-scented slopes of the Sierra de Tramuntana. Puerto Pollensa’s popularity comes as no surprise but there is a second dimension for visitors to enjoy – for inland is the old town of Pollensa, an atmospheric labyrinth of cobbled streets and ochre sandstone houses, centred on the picturesque Plaza Mayor, and its unmissable Sunday market. Tuesday is market day at the lovely traditional village of Campanet and the old town of Alcúdia, with its Roman theatre, is worth exploring any day, both are just 15km away.
