El Robledo

Sleeps up to 8

Featuring Moorish arches into a charming courtyard and bell tower; with tiled patios and pathways linking the lawns to the house, and a large pool basking beneath a bank of terraces with colourful shrubs, El Robledo knows how to make an impression.

For shade on scorching summer days, there’s a pergola at the poolside along with a tall palm tree to sit under, while French doors open from every room onto a covered and furnished terrace. For warmth and cosiness on winter nights, comfy sofas surround an open fireplace in the sitting room.

For comfort and convenience whenever you’ve chosen to stay, there are ample bathrooms, a feeling of spaciousness inside the villa, extensive grounds to stroll around and those spectacular views. Situated right at the heart of the Almuna estate, El Robledo is a deservedly popular place, private but easily accessed by road.

Exuding calm and enjoying perfect panoramas over the Andalucia hills and a glimpse of Africa and the Mediterranean, this is a simple relaxing refuge at any time of year.

Destination introduction

In the heart of Pueblos Blancos country Gaucin is a spectacularly beautiful mountain village commanding sweeping views to Gibraltar and the Rif mountains of North Africa. The village is situated against the backdrop of the Serranía de Ronda where, depending on the time of year, you can enjoy an Impressionist paint palette of colour. The centre of the village is a tangle of narrow, twisting streets there were once a haven for brandy and tobacco smugglers who travelled through the surrounding hills.
