A spacious two-storey villa, it stands atop a series of steps that lead down to its swimming pool set among the rocks. Views to Morocco and the Straits of Gibraltar are uninterrupted from the terrace, and whichever room you happen to be in.

The master bedroom and its balcony are reached via a minstrel’s gallery which looks down onto the sitting room. This room, in turn, opens onto the villa’s extensive main terrace, while the country-style dining room has a covered patio of its own, a cool spot for al fresco lunches. At ground level, the second bedroom is generously sized and has a terrace with those gorgeous views, while the separate and self-contained studio has a balcony overlooking the pool.

Nestling on the edge of Gaucin with amenities on your doorstep, hone your sense of direction as you stroll around the old streets to find the local bars and restaurants.
