Casa Gandolfo

Sleeps up to 10

Spanish tiles and high beamed ceilings enhance this beautifully furnished country house, where a gorgeous pool adorns mature gardens and backdrop views are breathtaking. In addition the full time services of a cook ensure a truly relaxing stay at Casa Gandolfo. To take advantage of the beautiful surrounding areas the cook  can arrange big picnics for exploratory days out to allow for flexibility.

The house is entered via a typically Andalucian courtyard. Cool and shady, it leads you through antique Spanish doors to spacious living areas, carefully furnished for comfort. These, in turn, have French doors which open onto outdoor terraces and overlook well tended lawns and colourful flowering shrubs. The swimming pool, in free-form style, enhances this enchanting setting and there are numerous vantage points, from the gardens and paved terraces, to enjoy the exquisite views of surrounding countryside. With four bedrooms in the main house and a fifth in a separate guest annex, Casa Gandolfo is among the most sought after villas in the area.

We recommend that you book early to relax at this Gaucin hillside retreat.

Destination introduction

In the heart of Pueblos Blancos country Gaucin is a spectacularly beautiful mountain village commanding sweeping views to Gibraltar and the Rif mountains of North Africa. The village is situated against the backdrop of the Serranía de Ronda where, depending on the time of year, you can enjoy an Impressionist paint palette of colour. The centre of the village is a tangle of narrow, twisting streets there were once a haven for brandy and tobacco smugglers who travelled through the surrounding hills.
