The Lake Resort was designed to promote an atmosphere of calm and well-being, a goal it achieves admirably. Guests will find every encouragement to unwind and relax completely. The fact that the Resort is surrounded on all sides by water in one form or the other surely contributes to the success of this concept.

The Lake Resort is situated in the centre of Vilamoura, with its exciting marina, shopping and leisure facilities, and world-famous golf courses. There are three large swimming pools, one heated, and one of the other two designed to resemble a beach, with gently shelving sand at the edge and a sandy bottom. The private lake is ideal for kayaking and a pleasant focus for walking.

The hotel has 192 guest bedrooms and 9 suites. Within the grounds there are privately owned apartments, some of which are also available for rent. All rooms have private balconies with panoramic views over marina, beach and lake. Sports and leisure facilities include extensive gardens, a Koala Kids Club and an excellent library.

With relaxation in a peaceful environment its goal, the ‘Blue and Green Spas’ are probably the hotel’s greatest assets – with their heated pools and treatments largely based on water therapies, they are a haven from the stresses of everyday life. Room Description

Double rooms: The large beds are divinely comfortable, and guests can also enjoy a full bath, watch a film or the fantastic sunset over the sea. The bathrooms are harmonious extensions of the bedrooms, separated only by sliding doors.

Apartments: The apartments have one or two bedrooms and also include two bedroom duplex. Distinguished by a functional approach, the apartments are fully equipped with kitchenette, storage space, security and parking places.
