With views down to the bay, Casa dos Gemeos sits in a pretty garden of soft lawns,

bright bougainvillea and mature trees and shrubs. Its focal point is the private swimming pool, which can be heated on request. There are ample terraces, at the poolside and on the roof-top, providing outdoor lounging space, while indoors an open-plan living area incorporates the sitting, dining room and breakfast bar kitchenette. Comfortably furnished in cool colours, the villa’s three bedrooms each have an en suite bathroom, making it equally suitable for families or groups of friends. Shops, restaurants, low key nightlife and a small fish market are all available in the village, the sands of Praia da Luz are under a mile away, and the sporting and other attractions of Lagos about a ten minute drive. Casa dos Gemeos is truly a sweet villa, perfect for a relaxing holiday.

A local cook can be provided at this property, giving everyone the opportunity to really relax whilst away. This increasingly popular option can provide the service for given meals, or for multiple meals during the course of your holiday. and can work out extremely cost effective over restaurant prices. Cooks are on request and do need to be booked well in advance to avoid disappointment. They are usually payable locally at an hourly rate.

Destination introduction

Praia da Luz is a coastal village that has developed to the degree that is can boast everything you would need for a relaxing stay in the Algarve, yet it still very much retains its character and charm. You will find many restaurants, cafés and shops along the promenade, running behind the beach, and even some Roman ruins of baths dating from the 3rd to 5th century. The beach itself is gently shelving and features golden sands, with the bay protected at its far end by the Rocha Negra, the ‘Black Rock’. Behind the beach pretty multi-coloured sandstone cliffs reach up in to the sky, in a kaleidoscope of oranges, greens and pinks.
