This villa is superbly sited above a sandy beach within a pretty walled garden, and enjoys lovely views.

Built on one level, with the rooms all opening on to a covered terrace, Casa do Dragao Azul (‘house of the blue dragon’) is adorned with bougainvillea cascades and set in manicured lawns. The heated swimming pool fills a little promontory where pretty patios make the perfect spot for refreshing coolers or romantic sundowners. Similarly modern and stylish to neighbouring Casa Balbina, the villa’s four bedrooms each enjoy an en suite bath or shower room, while the sitting/dining area is an airy and spacious place. Casa do Dragao Azul is a delightful villa, enjoying access to the shops and restaurants of Gale nearby, and tennis courts, a golf course and watersports only three kilometres away, with the added benefit of its own housekeeper who prepares breakfast, and will prepare other meals on request.

A local cook can be provided at this property, giving everyone the opportunity to really relax whilst away. This increasingly popular option can provide the service for given meals, or for multiple meals during the course of your holiday. and can work out extremely cost effective over restaurant prices. Cooks are on request and do need to be booked well in advance to avoid disappointment. They are usually payable locally at an hourly rate.

Gale boasts one of the finest beaches on the Algarve, a vast expanse of golden sand with a selection of beachside bars, cafés and watersports.
