A perfect villa for a house-party, the Casa da Infanta stands proudly on its cliff-top overlooking the Bay of Lagos and Praia da Rocha. With its own beach below and a large heated swimming pool, this is the ultimate seaside villa.

Casa da Infanta was built by Dona Filipa, a member of the Portuguese Royal family and remains a royal property. There are still royal crests on the bed heads and crest-embroidered sheets, but apart from that there is nothing to make today’s guests feel they have to tiptoe around the villa. The house is extremely spacious and comfortable and ideal for children of all ages – and this is the legacy of Dona Filipa herself, who liked nothing better than to entertain her family and all their children. Casa da Infanta may be grand in size, yet its character is very personal, with many beautiful and unusual articles collected by the owner and incorporated into the decoration of the rooms. The house is well-supplied with terraces and balconies, all with wonderful views and numerous facilities, all of which contributes to the holiday atmosphere – TV and games rooms with table tennis, a grand piano, downstairs bar at pool level – even a private chapel. Close by is the attractive village of Ferragudo, right on the water’s edge, with excellent fish restaurants supplied by the local fishermen. There is a comprehensive choice of golf courses in the vicinity, as well as tennis facilities and watersports and of course the spectacular Algarve coastal scenery to explore.

Tenancy Times: Tenancies commence at 15:00 hours on the day of arrival and villas are to be vacated at 10:00 hours on the day of departure. Thursday changeover (Saturday on request).
