Under two hours from Rome, this comfortably furnished house with magnificent lawned gardens and direct access to the beach, is an ideal retreat for relaxed summer living and is extremely popular with families. A small pool is an added bonus.

In an area famous for its Etruscan ruins, wildlife, pine forests and beaches, Bengodi is a much loved and very charming family home that has the most welcoming feeling imaginable. Special mention must be made of the exceptionally large sitting / dining room (with full size billiard table) which opens onto a shaded terrace. Those interested in an English garden in Italy will love its large and beautiful gardens created by its enthusiastic owner, with many species of roses. Extensive lawns slope down to a sandy/shingly beach with some rocks and pleasant swimming in the bay. In the evening, sitting watching the sunset with Talamone silhouetted across the water is a wonderful experience. Boat hire can be arranged to explore this lovely coastline, fashionable resorts and excellent restaurants. The wildly beautiful coastline of Monte Argentario is only a short drive away and more sophisticated parties may like to visit nearby Porto Ercole and the gourmet restaurant at the fabled Hotel Il Pellicano. Highly recommended – book early.

Private Pool

4m x 12m, 1.2m deep (all one depth) with ladder steps. The pool is open from mid May until mid September. Outside these dates, the pool can be opened on request for an extra charge.

Welcome Provisions Included

A welcome gesture to offer you a drink after your journey; tea or coffee and biscuits, wine or juice and a snack. They are not sufficient for an entire meal. Owners will also generally leave a few other items such as some salt, sugar, oil, bin bags and toilet paper.

Linen and Towels

Provided once per week on Saturday. Extra changes are available on request for an additional charge.

Maid Service

3 hours 5 days per week, 3 hours, 3 days per week before early May and from late September.

Tenancy Times

Tenancies commence at 16:00 hours on the day of arrival and villas are to be vacated at 10:00 hours on the day of departure
