The countryside south of Siena is perhaps one of our favourite areas of Tuscany. Our Tuscan villas in this area are set within easy access of the renowned wine centre of Montalcino, the exquisite villages of Monticchiello and Pienza (location for the film The English Patient). The Renaissance hill town of Montepulciano also hosts numerous classical and contemporary music, dance, theatre festivals. You can also dance at local feste - open air parties in villages celebrating local feast days, walk or ride on horseback through the countryside, tour the Brunello vineyards or a Vino Nobile vineyard at Montepulciano.
