Decorated to the very highest standards, Villa Regina is set in magnificent gardens, north west of Lucca, with spectacular westerly views over the valley below and of the Apuan Alps.

The setting is everything we have come to expect of Tuscany, the splendour of the villa matched by the immaculate gardens. This outstanding property is one of the finest villas available for rental in this part of Tuscany.

With high ceilings, the reception rooms are decorated in traditional style with comfortable sofas and fabrics in warm colours. Adjacent to the dining room there is a superb well-equipped kitchen leading to a sunny conservatory. A breakfast room leads out to the courtyard with table and cushioned chairs set under the branches of an oak tree and garden chess. All four spacious bedrooms are furnished also to a very high standard with beautiful wooden bedsteads, toile de jouy wall-covering, and have excellent en-suite bathrooms.

The adjacent Guest House with beautiful blue and white tiles in the kitchen is also of a high standard but decorated in simpler style.

The gardens are exquisite -with extensive lawns, parterre, roses, fragrant jasmine and lavender, oleander, small palms and mature and varied trees all beautifully cared-for. Children will love exploring and chairs and tables are placed at various spots in the garden to admire the simply exceptional views.

The lawns slope gently down to the table tennis and fabulous pool area set invitingly on a grassy terrace of its own. The property has its own olive grove, producing fine organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil under its own label.

Rental Condition: Two farmhouses are retained for the owner and for the multilingual manager, about 80 metres from the villa. They are on a different level to the villa and do not overlook the villa, terraces or pool

Private Pool

13m x 6m, 1m - 2m deep with ladder steps. Pool Towels. The pool is open from end of May until beginning of October. Pool opening outside these dates is subject to confirmation, on request and there may be an extra charge.

Food Hamper

Can be arranged for an additional cost and service charge payable locally. For guests who are arriving late or who recognize they may be delayed and arrive with no time to do shopping. Shops are shut on Sundays, so the aim of the Food Hampers is to provide some items to tide guests over for the weekend, before shopping on Monday. Please do and complete the Food Hamper form and return to us.
