Cleverly combining antique pieces and furniture from their travels with the colours and relaxed country style of Tuscany, the owners of Villa Michele have created an unusually beautiful home on the edge of a rural hamlet.

Each bedroom has a unique style with colour washed walls and wooden beamed ceilings. A comfortable sitting room with fireplace is wonderful in cooler months. Many love looking through the interesting books left by the owners for the benefit of guests. Experienced pianists will also appreciate the Blüthner grand piano. A welcoming kitchen with open fireplace and dining area is also the setting for delicious Tuscan meals.

The large covered dining terrace above lawned terraces studded with olive trees, commands a unique view of a ruined castle against a spectacular panorama of rolling woodlands, premium Chianti vineyards and the uplands of Le Crete. A huge pool deep enough for serious swimmers and with shaded pavilion is set in the extensive lawned gardens and is in an inviting setting for ultimate relaxation. Highly recommended.

Note: Discreet English speaking staff live separately on the premises in self-contained accommodation (not overlooking terraces or pool), ready to do extra cooking and laundry if required.

A dog is kept in an enclosed area set away from the property and is looked after by the resident staff.

Private Pool

5m x 12m, 1m - 3m deep with built-in and ladder steps. Pool Towels. The pool is open from mid May until mid September. Outside these dates, the pool can be opened on request for an extra charge.

Food Hamper

Can be arranged for an additional cost and service charge payable locally. For guests who are arriving late or who recognize they may be delayed and arrive with no time to do shopping. Shops are shut on Sundays, so the aim of the Food Hampers is to provide two light meals and two breakfasts, to allow guests to go out for one meal, then do more shopping on Monday. We can adapt these hampers to take into account allergies, dislikes and dietary requirements, or according to whether there are children in the party.

CV Representative

An English speaking CV Representative in Italy will visit you and will be available by phone during your stay. Contact details will be sent with your travel documents.

Linen and Towels

Provided once per week on Saturday. Extra changes are available on request for an additional charge.

Maid Service

4 hours, 6 days per week.

Tenancy Times

Tenancies commence at 16:00 hours on the day of arrival and villas are to be vacated at 10:00 hours on the day of departure
