Private Pool

14m x 7m, 1.6m - 2.6m deep with built-in steps and electrically-operated cover. Infinity pool with built-in steps. The pool is open from end of May until end of September. Pool opening outside these dates is subject to confirmation, on request and there may be an extra charge. Please refer to website for more information on infinity pools.

Food Hamper

Can be arranged for an additional cost and service charge payable locally. For guests who are arriving late or who recognize they may be delayed and arrive with no time to do shopping. Shops are shut on Sundays, so the aim of the Food Hampers is to provide some items to tide guests over for the weekend, before shopping on Monday. Please do complete the Food Hamper form and return to us.

Cook Service

There is local lady who offers a cook service who is willing to offer her occasional services to guests staying at Le Porciglia. She normally cooks good local dishes, and is usually available to cook evening meals.  She will prepare what she can in her own kitchen, cooking last-minute dishes at the villa, unless you would specifically like to watch her cook.  Fees include time taken shopping, travelling, serving the first two courses and clearing up as much as possible in the kitchen. Typically a good meal for four may take 5 or 6 hours, though obviously a lot depends on the number of courses and whether the meal is simple or elaborate.

Cost: Arrival Weekend: Saturday evening meal, plus a light luncheon for the Sunday, both left for you – 25 Euros per hour, plus the cost of food, all to be paid locally to the cook. Three or five evening meals per week – 25 Euros per hour, plus the cost of food, all to be paid locally to the cook. 

The cook service is available on request. I understand that there is a £50 booking fee to be paid to CV Travel in London. If you would like to take advantage of this service, we need to know as soon as possible, because cooks have commitments at other villas, and we cannot guarantee that they will be available.  We would therefore be grateful if you could ask for and complete the cook questionnaire and return it to us as soon as possible.  Please note that the cook service is not usually available on Sundays or on Public Holidays, though exceptions might be made for special occasions.

Tenancy Times

Tenancies commence at 16:00 hours on the day of arrival and villas are to be vacated at 10:00 hours on the day of departure.
