This beautiful, huge, modern villa with interiors in classical style is close to Trecastagni, a village situated on the slope of Mount Etna. The property has everything to offer for a quiet, relaxed stay: it is surrounded by extensive lawned gardens with flowers and Mediterranean plants, with private swimming pool sheltered by luxuriant vegetation.

The villa offers a very high standard of accommodation and is ideal for large families or groups of friends, having wide, well proportioned rooms (seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms) that enable every guest to have privacy.

Coordinated textiles, marble inlays and antiques combine well with modern pieces. All fittings and decorations have been chosen with great care, both in the interior and in the outside area. Trecastagni is a quiet village with an amazing view not only of “the giant of fire” but also of the southern most part of Calabria up to the gulf of “Augusta” in the surroundings of Syracuse. It is 15 kilometres far from the lively Catania and is located close to the National Park of Mount Etna and is therefore a perfect location for walking and trekking.

This location is also known in Italian literature where authors have set their novels. Trecastagni is surrounded by chestnut groves, vineyards and orchards, A sacred monument of the village that is worth sightseeing is the “Chiesa Madre” (XV century), in a panoramic situation on top of a monumental staircase, is distinctive for the lava rock decorations of the exterior and interiors.

Welcome Provisions Included

A welcome gesture to offer you a drink after your journey; tea or coffee and biscuits, wine or juice and a snack. They are not sufficient for an entire meal. Owners will also generally leave a few other items to get you going such as some salt, sugar, oil, bin bags and toilet paper.

Food Hamper

Can be arranged for an additional cost and €30 service charge payable locally. For guests who are arriving late or who recognize they may be delayed and arrive with no time to do shopping. Shops are shut on Sundays, so the aim of the Food Hampers is to tide guests over for the weekend before more shopping on Monday. Please do ask for and complete the Food Hamper form.
