Villa Helena is in a class of its own, combining comfort and superb location. An ideal villa in Paxos for friends or family, it provides the perfect setting to a wonderfully easy-going holiday. Superb terraces overlook one of the most spectacular views on the east coast of Paxos, a view that embraces not only the coastline on either side, but also Lakkos Beach, the mainland, and Corfu in the distance. Modern, spacious, and well-equipped, the villa has been decorated in a comfortable English style, with pretty floral fabrics and sunny colours. A beautiful swimming pool on a lower level is reached by steps and the owners have thoughtfully now provided a games room at this level, complete with darts, table tennis and table football equipment. The villa is set in the familiar Paxiot surroundings of olive and cypress trees shared with their neighbour. The lovely beach of Monodendri with its two tavernas is just 2 kilometres away. The villa’s proximity to Lakka, the yachtsmen’s favourite Ionian anchorage, means that good shops, varied entertainments and Italian and Greek restaurants are also conveniently close by.

Extra Services

Flights: Please do ask for a quotation for our daytime flight from London Gatwick to Corfu. Pre-selected seats and extra legroom seats (34") available on request. Flights from UK regional airports available on request.

Ugrade to Sea Taxi Transfers: recommended for large groups and when travel arrangements do not coincide with our scheduled transfers. Please do ask for a quotation. 

Boat Hire: There is no better way to explore the coastline and discover deserted bays and coves with their translucent water to add to the overall enjoyment of your holiday. Small boats and speedboats can be pre-booked with our UK office prior to departure and we recommend early reservations, especially in July and August, as availability is limited.

Lakka Introduction

The large, deep and very well sheltered harbour of Lakka has always attracted many yachtsmen, and the sight of yachts large and small, from all over the Mediterranean, swinging at anchor on the vividly turquoise water, is quite enchanting.

The bay is fringed by beautiful tree-shaded beaches, where the white pebbles give way to gently shelving sand once you are in the water, making this an ideal spot for families with children. Life in Lakka centres on the sea of course, and there are some good restaurants serving fresh fish, but the international influence can be seen in some excellent Italian food too.

Yoga in Paxos
