Villa Ilios is the ideal choice for a villa holiday in Paxos where pleasantly idle days around the pool or on the nearby beach can draw to a pleasant conclusion with a short evening drive or stroll into Gaios for supper and entertainment. The position of this modern and comfortable villa makes it quite exceptional. Excellent swimming is to be found in the sparkling, clear water that laps the secluded cove just around the corner, though the private swimming pool exerts a very strong attraction. With a length of ten metres, there is plenty of room to play, splash about or simply swim. The surrounding terraces have a certain amount of tree-shade according to the time of day. The views across the sea from the house and terrace are superb – extensive and unobstructed, looking towards the mainland of Greece. The interior is spacious and well planned, with thoughtfully provided comforts and facilities, making this attractive house an ideal holiday home for all. Lunch or dinner on the shaded terrace, with those lovely views, is bound to be a holiday highlight. Colourful Gaios with its excellent tavernas and fascinating harbour is within walking distance along the road below. Solar energy is employed in the heating and pumping of water.

Ugrade to Sea Taxi Transfers: recommended for large groups and when travel arrangements do not coincide with our scheduled transfers. Please do ask for a quotation. 

Boat Hire: There is no better way to explore the coastline and discover deserted bays and coves with their translucent water to add to the overall enjoyment of your holiday. Small boats and speedboats can be pre-booked with our UK office prior to departure and we recommend early reservations, especially in July and August, as availability is limited.

Gaios Introduction

The Venetian capital of the island, approached by a sheltered inlet, Gaios is a lively and colourful little town with its main square open to the sea on one side. The quaysides play host to an entertainingly cosmopolitan variety of yachts, especially in high season. Internet café available, but Gaios has this year made a concession to the present and WiFi is available in the entire area of the main town square.

Yoga in Paxos
