Furnished in a chic but minimalist style, the house is light and airy, with lots of windows that open on to large terraces that will satisfy the most demanding sunseekers. The upper floor opens on to a long, broad terrace, partly shaded and comfortably furnished, with glorious views and the lower rooms open on to the lovely pool terrace and outdoor kitchen and dining area – perfect for one of those leisurely al fresco meals. The villa is surrounded by terraced gardens filled with olive and fruit trees and with informal sitting areas. While the attraction of the pool cannot be doubted, lovers of sea-swimming will be happy to know that there is excellent rock-bathing from the shore below and a charming cove about 150m from the house, accessed by a short flight of steps. All in all, this is the ideal holiday base for those who appreciate the special qualities of Paxos – informality, privacy without isolation and easy access to the sea.
