The spectacular northeast coast of Corfu is home to some exceptional properties – none more beautiful, perhaps, than Atolikos House. Named after the private headland that it shares with just one other private, sister villa (part of the CV Travel Private Collection), Atolikos is a triumph of professional design, a subtle combination of traditional Corfiot and Venetian features expressed in local building materials fashioned by island craftsmen and perfectly in accord with its breathtaking natural surroundings. This is a house for all seasons, luxurious yet intimate in atmosphere, with a superb level of contemporary comfort that is just as much in evidence out of doors as inside. Decorated almost entirely in white, the rooms are illuminated by multiple French windows that emphasise the beauty of the views – the rippling Ionian Sea, the mysterious mountains of Albania. A magnificent fresh water infinity pool that seems to merge effortlessly with the view is connected to a shared jetty by stone steps and a path that meanders invitingly through the lovely natural garden. Atolikos enjoys the kind of peace and privacy that is becoming increasingly rare in Corfu, yet the amenities of the resort of Kassiopi are within walking distance, and when rented together with the other property on the estate, can comfortably sleep up to 20.   

Sustainable Tourism

Great care has been taken to implement as many environmentally friendly methods as possible and the house benefits from:

•  Natural water collected from the winter rains for house use

•  Grey water recycled for irrigation and used for all the outdoor garden plants

•  Solar lighting of the garden, woodland and pathways

•  Floatron pool technology (no chlorine)

Note: Guests are encouraged to help the local environment by preserving water during their stay.
