Malama

This pretty hilltop house, with both sea and mountain views, is an impressively well-kept property, its driveway lined with bright oleander bushes, its mature gardens an oasis of attractive plants and trees. The views are visually inspiring, embracing the sea and headlands to the south, with glimpses of Corfu Town and the mainland, while behind the villa there is a privileged view of the majestic crags of Mount Pantocrator. Malama is a modern house, light and airy, with more than a hint of Corfiot tradition in its style and decoration. Long windows open off the ground floor to a terrace and small lawn, from which a shallow flight of steps leads to the exceptionally pretty pool area that is overlooked by a shaded dining terrace. Malama is an easily accessible house, with no steep paths or too many steps to negotiate between parking, house and pool. Its countryside setting amidst olive and fig trees, old cottages and beehives, gives it a great sense of seclusion, yet the beautiful Barbati coastline is only a kilometre away, with endless opportunities for boating and water sports. There are also good walking opportunities near Malama.

Boat Hire: There is no better way to explore the coastline and discover deserted bays and coves with their translucent water to add to the overall enjoyment of your holiday. Small boats and speedboats can be pre-booked with our UK office prior to departure and we recommend early reservations, especially in July and August, as availability is limited.

Barbati, Nissaki & Spartilas Introduction

Barbati’s long white pebble beach and Nissaki’s necklace of pristine beaches, linked by olive tree-clad promontories, characterise one of Corfu’s loveliest regions.

This resorts still have their own particularly friendly atmosphere, and are marvellous for families, with lots of family-run tavernas on or close to clean Blue Flag beaches, excellent water sports, and some lovely walks on the hillsides behind. The ideal area for a quiet holiday.
