Oneiro is situated on an olive-clad hillside overlooking the white crescent of Avlaki Beach, and beyond to the misty shores of Albania. It is ideally located for the enjoyment of Avlaki’s invigorating water sports and beach-side restaurants, and the fashionable but still delightfully unspoilt harbour of St Stephano is only a short drive away. With full air-conditioning, it is no hardship to stay indoors when the sun is at its hottest and relax in the comfort of the big high-ceilinged living room where pastel colours are sharpened by vivid accessories from Morocco and India. Chic design and exceptional comfort extend to the outdoor areas, where a very stylish shaded dining area overlooks terraces scattered with seats and sofas and sun loungers enabling everyone to relax in or out of the sun. A few steps lead down to the lower terrace where a curved aquamarine coloured pool glitters invitingly in one corner, its infinity edge giving it spectacular views of its own.

Boat Hire: There is no better way to explore the coastline and discover deserted bays and coves with their translucent water to add to the overall enjoyment of your holiday. Small boats and speedboats can be pre-booked with our UK office prior to departure and we recommend early reservations, especially in July and August, as availability is limited.

Avlaki & Coyevinas Introduction

At the point where the Corfu Channel opens out to the north, the coastline undergoes a subtle change – the sea deepens, the winds freshen, and wide bays provide ideal conditions for windsurfing and sailing as these two activities lure enthusiasts again and again to the bays of Avlaki and Coyevinas.

Those of a less active disposition will love lazing around at their villa enjoying the views along the coast, inland to Corfu’s mountains and across the sea to the mainland. At Avlaki, there is an excellent English-run dinghy sailing school as well as horse riding and internet facilities. Not far away is Kassiopi, a busy but still very attractive little harbour town, a good centre for shopping, entertainment and excursions, where tradition and tourism meet, with happy results. Teenagers love Kassiopi for its lively nightlife and trendy shopping; parents love it because it keeps the children happy.
