Maison Mireille

Sleeps up to: 8 or 12 guests (10 Adults + 2 Children)

Maison Mireille, a 19th century bastide, has been sympathetically restored to a high standard in Provençal style, making for a comfortable home.  This house is situated just off a leafy lane in the picturesque village of Maillane, the birthplace of the well known writer, Frédéric Mistral.

The centre point of the house is the wonderful living room where cool, welcoming furnishings sit under beautiful beamed ceilings. The bedrooms are all of a good size and well appointed, and each one enjoys en suite facilities. Crisp Egyptian cotton bed linen, fluffy white towels, cosseting bath products all make for an indulgent atmosphere. Outside, there is a lovely, shaded dining area for lazy lunches, and plenty of sun loungers around the pretty swimming pool. Maillane, with its Thursday market, boasts roads lined with plane trees and cicadas and enjoys shady squares surrounded by buildings adorned with traditional blue and green shutters, gently faded by the Provençal sunshine. This is a delightful house for groups of family or friends, and there are reduced rates available for smaller groups.
