Bastide des Fontaines

Sleeps up to: 8

Located on a hillside and enjoying spectacular views over vineyards, orchards and Tuscan-like hills, the view from Bastide des Fontaines extends into the distance towards the Southern Alps.

Set within a beautiful walled garden of 3.2 acres, this is a peaceful setting where you will be given the perfect opportunity to unwind and relax. The house is built in a traditional rectangular shape and is surrounded by spectacular gardens, with clipped hedges and fragrant rose beds. In front of the house there lies a large open terrace sheltered by two magnificent plane trees, equipped with a comfortable set of garden furniture, barbecue and dining table, a great setting for alfresco dining and a place to enjoy the views. The house has recently been modernised and redecorated to a very high standard. On the ground floor the drawing room is spacious and comfortable, with a number of sofas, armchairs, a grand piano and the additional comfort of a fantastic open log fire. Destination introduction

Sitting on the side of the Foussa hill the lovely old ruins of the ancient village remain on the hilltop, as do the ruins of the old castle.
