La Pinede

Sleeps up to: 6

Situated on a private estate, on an exclusive peninsula cocooned in three hundred acres of pine forest, and footsteps away from the sea. A welcome addition to our France portfolio, located on a private estate La Pinede is a charming house whose white washed walls contrast with the verdant greens of its surrounding forest. Recently completed this new house features modern open-plan living, simply decorated in calming, neutral tones.

The salon opens out through French doors on to a pretty terrace featuring an olive tree and seating ideal for al fresco dining on balmy summer evenings. The garden opens out onto lawned areas featuring the private swimming pool, as well as shady spots courtesy of the surrounding forest. The estate also features tennis courts on the outer edge of the domaine, and a private beach a short walk from the property.

The charming town of Bormes-les-Mimosas is five kilometres away, and known for being one of the prettiest in France with the pink tiled houses of its medieval village contrasting with vivid floral displays. The glitz and glamour of Saint-Tropez is just a short drive from the estate with its vast selection of exclusive shops, restaurants, bars, and nightlife, as well as the famous harbour. This is a wonderful brand new property, in an enviable location, moments from the sea, with the added security and exclusivity of being located in a private estate.

Destination introduction

The fine vista of 'Belle Epoque' houses along the sea front, the wonderful 'buzzing' atmosphere of the one time small fishing village of Saint-Tropez, provide a number of reasons why the rich and famous continue to flock to this fabulous area. Set on the lovely blue water of the Bay of Saint-Tropez, this modern version of a medieval town is most popular for the line of yachts along the quai, and the facing line of terrace cafés. Saint-Tropez became "St-Trop" when the show business people, artists and writers all fell under the spell of this charming little port in the 1950's. Since then it has become the 'in' vacation spot for chic Parisians and 'La Jet Set'.

There is however another side to Saint-Tropez. Early in the morning at the Place aux Herbes one can find fruit vegetables and flowers and watch the local fishermen selling their new catch. The beaches too are wonderful, and there are at least forty on the peninsula. Whilst the verdant hills cocooning it provide a wonderful contrast with the villages within them prefect hideaways, yet still close to the action of the coast.
