Le Gallerie

Sleeps up to 10

Uniquely situated above the Caribbean Sea and overlooking Soufriere Bay and the Pitons, Le Gallerie must be one of our most spectacular and delightful properties.

At Le Gallerie it is easy to be absorbed into a truly relaxing way of life. Trade winds supply the house with a gentle cooling breeze and the extensive balconies and verandas provide wonderful spaces for outside dining or simply sitting and admiring the view. With an almost private beach just down below the villa and the renowned snorkelling beach and restaurants of the Anse Chastanet resort just a five minutes’ drive away, Le Gallerie is ideally situated for a tropical beach holiday. The stylish refit includes four poster beds and comfortable chairs upholstered in cool light fabrics and uniquely each bedroom at the villa opens onto a private balcony that frames the majestic view. The infinity edged pool is surrounded by a large circular deck with a charming dining gazebo, a great spot for barbecues! In fact previous guests have told us that once they tasted cook Shermaine’s flavoursome Creole dishes, they very rarely decided to venture out for dinner!

Destination introduction

The south of St Lucia is where the attractions are more natural, and nowhere more so than the dramatic twin peaks of The Pitons that dominate the skyline in the south west. There is also a spectacular rainforest with its diverse flora and fauna, and even a drive-in volcano, which are both very popular. Here the pace of life is unhurried and this is what some would say is the real St Lucia that is still virtually untouched by commercialism. This can mean that local restaurants and shops are not as sophisticated in the north but does mean that you will get a real flavour of Island life. The best beaches are at Anse Cochon, Anse Chastanet and Jalousie Bay – directly between the Pitons.
