Wild Orchid is a recent addition to the growing collection of luxurious St Lucia villas. It is set in an elevated position in the exclusive residential area of Cap Estate in the far north of St Lucia. The perfect villa for older families or groups of friends.

Built over two floors, this is a villa of large proportions, with rooms opening out to panoramic views to Pigeon Island and the distant island of Martinique. Whilst contemporary in design, Wild Orchid incorporates many traditional Caribbean features such as jalousie doors, high exposed roofs and beams, and a wide covered verandah that stretches the full width of the villa, incorporating dining and sitting areas. The house has a cool, fresh ambiance with bright white walls, inside and out, and either bleached or white painted woodwork and furnishings, speckled with colours, all set against terracotta floor tiles. From the verandah there are stairs down to the kidney-shaped swimming pool, pool terrace and to the gardens below.

Destination introduction

The north of St Lucia is more cosmopolitan and lively than the south. The beaches tend to be golden interspersed with dark, volcanic coves, and you will find most of the villas that we feature in the very north on the Cap Estate, near the golf course. From the Cap Estate there are wonderful views to be had of Pigeon Point Island (joined by a causeway) and many great beaches, the largest being Reduit Beach. The capital, Castries, is also in the north, famous for its market and historical sites, and Rodney Bay offers marinas, a variety of watersports and an extensive range of restaurants, bars and a diversity of nightlife.
