Katitche Point Greathouse

Sleeps up to: 10

A beautiful house in a spectacular setting, Katitche Point Greathouse, completed at the turn of the millennium, is for those who will appreciate the owner’s high standards, reflected in its beautiful furnishings and wonderful outside eating/sitting area.

Situated on a rocky outcrop between the beaches of Mahoe Bay and Pond Bay, this villa offers breathtaking views across turquoise blue, shimmering water to Tortola and the neighboring Dog Islands. In the pyramid-shaped main house, rich wood tones and Puerto Rican sandstone set the backdrop for original artwork. The open plan design features comfortable English couches, a teak dining table seating up to 14 people and a professional kitchen meeting the most exacting standards. On a gallery level there is a casual sitting area and even higher, an unbelievable lookout – The Crow’s Nest. Wide verandas surround the main house and provide clusters of gathering areas, dotted with hammocks and hanging chairs. Through the inner courtyard with its lemon trees, herb and flower gardens, you reach the four guest suites and separate master suite. Each are beautifully appointed with the separate master bedroom enjoying an amazing bathroom terrace with a koi pond, an open-air shower and a deep soaking tub sunk into the rocks. The attentive staff are there to look after you; Mr Bridgewater, the gardener will pick ripe fresh fruits for you from the tropical gardens and on Saturdays you can get freshly caught Anegada rock lobsters delivered to your door!

Destination introduction

One word describes Tortola’s nearest neighbour – magical! There really is little to mar the virgin beauty of its stunning scenery, its immaculate white beaches and the unbelievable hues of blues and greens in the crystal seas. Virgin Gorda is also home to ‘The Baths’- incredible rock formations of giant boulders form private coves and ethereal sea caves. The colourful marina areas of Spanish Town and Leverick Bay contrast with the Crusoe style beach bars and meeting spots of these islands.
