One of the most romantic settings you could wish for, with a charming 17th Century converted sugar mill amidst 8 acres of glorious landscaped gardens looking to the sea and a private beach house on glorious Gibbs Beach. An idyllic venue for exotic weddings and special occasions.

Mullins Mill is a home of unique character with a timeless quality, consisting of three buildings with the main house built round an old sugar mill dating back to 1690. Much use is made of mahogany and pickled pine, cleverly blended with coral stone walls and beautiful antique furniture. Four bedrooms are located in the main house (one at the top of the mill) and adjoining the main house is a two bedroom guest cottage with private verandas. A further cottage gives up another two bedrooms. A gazebo on the ridge edge has sweeping views of the coastline, and the property has a tennis court and an infinity swimming pool with cabana and separate Jacuzzi. The main house overlooks the vast gardens and offers superb sea views. Guests have use of the owner's private beach house right on the famous Gibbs Beach and six bedroom rentals include use of the owners' motor boat equipped for waterskiing and towing inflatable rides. (Please note the cost of oil and petrol is additional).

Destination introduction

The Barbados ‘Platinum Coast’ extends from St James to the south, through St Peter and incorporates some of the most beautiful bays on the island. In particular Gibbs Beach and Mullins Beach are true CV favourites. It is here that many of our beachfront villas open directly onto picture perfect white sand. Speightstown is the area’s centre for shopping and it is also home to Barbados’s only marina – Port St Charles. To the north of Port St Charles is Six Men’s Bay and Shermans.
