Cobblers Cove Hotel

One of the Caribbean’s most distinguished small hotels which combines the charm and elegance of an English country house with traditional Bajan hospitality in a tropical setting. Just as you would expect from a Relais & Chateau member.

Set overlooking a classic palm fringed beach in a quieter spot to the north of the West Coast, Cobblers Cove is made up of a charming pink washed main house, colonial in style, surrounded by a number of two storey houses containing the suites, nestling in the lovely gardens, overlooking the sea. An intimate house party atmosphere prevails, from afternoon tea on the terrace and sundowners in the pool side bar, to cocktails in the sitting room and dinner in the award-winning seafront Terrace Restaurant with its renowned cuisine and extensive wine list. This is an all suite hotel, each suite exuding the epitome of Caribbean style comfort. An attractive combination of rattan furnishings, pretty cottons and terracotta tiles are delightfully well put together. From the gardens there is direct access to the beach, or you can relax beside the seafront pool. For the more energetic there is a floodlit tennis court and a host of complimentary water sports.

Guest Book

"GM Randy Wilkie and his team immediately make you feel at home at Cobblers Cove through their genuine friendliness. We recommend taking the Half Board option, as head chef Brian Porteus has created a world class menu, if they're on the menu, don't miss the tiger prawns or the baked rice pudding! Cobblers even have their own fisherman "Barker" and his catch is delivered to the restaurant and served that very same day. If you would like to venture out somewhere else for dinner, they offer exchange dining at three other luxury west coast hotels."

Destination introduction

The Barbados ‘Platinum Coast’ extends from St James to the south, through St Peter and incorporates some of the most beautiful bays on the island. In particular Gibbs Beach and Mullins Beach are true CV favourites. It is here that many of our beachfront villas open directly onto picture perfect white sand. Speightstown is the area’s centre for shopping and it is also home to Barbados’s only marina – Port St Charles. To the north of Port St Charles is Six Men’s Bay and Shermans.
