La Paloma is a much loved family home, located immediately on a glorious west coast beach. The stylish and comfortable interiors, welcoming staff and magnificent sunsets make it a popular choice with families and groups of friends.

This recently refurbished beachfront villa benefits from extensive outdoor areas overlooking the calm waters of the Caribbean Sea, ideal for lovers of swimming, snorkeling and watersports. Outdoor living and dining is particularly well catered for with a spacious terrace and furnished balcony, complete with jalousie shutters, lattice work and furnishings that are upholstered in soft blue and white motifs reminiscent of the Caribbean sky. The impressive downstairs dining room, with its hard wood floors and furnishings, has a colonial style plantation house ambience and the new games room with table football and a small pool table is a great family friendly addition. There are even two complimentary kayaks included for exploring off the beach.

With an almost uninterrupted, six mile stretch of white sand beach, St James truly is Barbados’s ‘Platinum Coast’. Famous for its beachfront mansions, pristine beaches and luxury hotels, St James incorporates the majority of the island’s west coast and is home to three of Barbados’s world famous private estates – Sandy Lane, Royal Westmoreland and Sugar Hill – with their championship golf courses and facilities. The area’s commercial centre is Holetown, a charming area with fine restaurants and shopping. Directly to the south of Holetown are Sandy Lane Beach and the Paynes Bay area extending down to Fitts Village, Derricks and Prospect. ‘The Garden’ is an exclusive enclave to the north of Holetown, by Lower Carlton and Weston.
