An extremely picturesque traditional white village stacked precariously up the hillside like sugar lumps. It is a steep climb to the ruined fortress at the top but well worth it for the view and the early August feria is great fun and, like all ferias, goes on late!  Although only approximtely 14 kms from the coast it feels miles away from the hustle and bustle. The village has tapas bars, several nice restaurants as well as some local shops, a butcher and baker.
