Fontana
Fontana is one of those minute Paxiot villages that seem to consist of little more than a rather pretty church, a good taverna and a cafeneion that also acts as a local shop and bakery. This classic simplicity, however, is what visitors love about Paxos. Life is quiet here, ideal for an adult party or couples.
Inland and fairly central, Fontana is well-placed for walking and exploring the island, and is located on the road leading from Gaios to Loggos, though very few maps actually show it! There are roads leading down from the village to the beaches below.
